 ACTUAL SIMULATION BASED EDUCATIONAL PRACTICES

Needed:  Experienced Nurse Simulation Facilitators to participate in a dissertation research study

Research Title:  Actual Best Practices in Prelicensure Nursing Simulation Facilitation as Reported by Experienced Nurse Facilitators

The purpose of this research study is to close the gap of knowledge between best practice standards and reported practices as well as to inform nurse educators of actual best practices in simulation-based education as reported by experienced prelicensure nursing simulation facilitators.

Eligibility Criteria:

•Prelicensure Nurse Educator

•RN

•At least five years of current continuous experience in simulation facilitation

•Simulation facilitation experience must include nursing simulation-based education

•Does not know the researcher either professionally or personally

Research requirements:

•1-2 hour interview via video conferencing or in person

•Verification of interview transcript
