NLN/Laerdal Research Study

In 2003, the National League for Nursing through a grant from the Laerdal Medical Corporation examined simulation as a sophisticated teaching tool to supplement learning in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings. Click here to view the results of this research.

Sim Center Highlights: At college location: two simulation labs with video recording/streaming capabilities, two conference/classrooms for lecture and debriefing exercises, 11 human patient simulators with 2 high fidelity, 1 newborn, 1 infant, 1 pediatric and 8 adult mannequins.

At the health system: 2 hospital based locations. One at main hospital, one at the womens' hospital. 3 adult mid fidelity human patient simulators utilized as well as various task trainers.
