Name of Sim Center: Mrs Lee Kong Chian Critical Care Nursing Simulation Laboratory
Location: Singapore
Sim Center Highlights: The facility has a 24 capacity seminar room. The laboratory has 2 simulated areas – Intensive care unit and High Dependency. It is equipped with the SimMan 3G simulator and part-task / skills trainer models.

The ICU nursing education activities started in 2004 with the in-house program – Critical Care Program . Current education focus is expanded to include simulation training, invasive catheterization laboratory, general nursing training and life support training.

South Africa - School of Nursing, University of the Free State

Location: Bloemfontein, Free State 9300, South Africa
Sim Center Highlights: The simulation area covers 2587 sq foot that includes an equipped ward area with two adult and a 18 month toddler medium fidelity simulators, pediatric and an adult high-fidelity, a home (home births etc), an one room informal house, a clinic and a debriefing environment. The first floor, 3640 sq feet, house 7 examination rooms with low-fidelity equipment also used for standardised patient simulation. Four auditoriums facilitate live AV streaming. Two smaller and larger auditoriums In the same building is 2 smaller and 2 larger auditoriums. The control room is equipped with two KB port systems, plasma screen and a one way window.
We are the first sim lab in South Africa presenting a comprehensive simulation program. We present a yearly, national simulation workshop and the first two was in collaboration with the University of Drexel. We also support departments in the process of establishing simulation at national and international level .

Location: Columbia, SC

Sim Center Highlights: 5,500 Square feet of simulation space including 6 encounter rooms with full auido/video and debrief capabilities. Simulators include 4 Sim-men, 3 Sim-Babies, Pediatric (5 yo) and Newborn Hals, 2 Noelle's (full featured birthing trainers), Mega-code Kid, Infant Crisis, Ultimate Hurt, 2 Vital-Sims, Air-man and various other task and skill trainers.
