Alabama - Baptist Health Montgomery

Baptist Montgomery

Name of Sim Center: Institute for Patient and Medical Simulation
Location: Montgomery, AL
Sim Center Highlights: A 22,000 sq foot center created on the site of a previous free standing surgical center. Holding bays are task trainers, 4 operating rooms have become and auditorium, 2 operating rooms are classrooms, 2 operating rooms are KB Port equipped Simulation Rooms. 2 ndoscopy suites are Prehospital environments, PACU is a 12 bay Simulation Lab, the 23 hour observation unit will some day be a simulation Med Surg Unit. We work with local high schools, schools of nursing, 2 medical residency programs, local Firemedics, as well as the employees of Baptist Health.

Alaska - University of Alaska Anchorage

Name of Sim Center: Nursing Resource Center Simulation Laboratory
Location: Anchorage, AK
Sim Center Highlights: The Nursing Resource Center Simulation Laboratory has one SimMan 3G, one SimBaby, six VitalSims, and a variety of low-fi mannequins by Leardal Medical. We house three skill labs installed and two simulation labs operated by a control center installed with two Laerdal Advanced Video Systems for video/audio/patient-student event log/patient monitor integration for debriefing and live streaming.

Arizona - Arizona State University College of Nursing & Healthcare Innovation

Name of Sim Center: Educational Simulation Program (ESP)
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Sim Center Highlights: ESP provides a safe learning environment in 20,000 sq. ft. on 3 campuses.  Faculty create pediatric and adult scenarios (SimMan SimBaby, and Laerdal Vital family) and guidelines for reflection to support students in developing clinical reasoning through evidence based  practice. ASU CONHI is a founding member of the Arizona Simulation Network.
