EHR in Simulation

I would  like to integrate  EHR into our simulations. I would appreciate any feedback anyone has about products that you use.  I am  considering Elsevier SimChart and  NEEHR Perfect at  this  point but open to other options. I  would mainly use it to complement sim but I see NEEHR perfect has informatics activities. I like what I see in NEEHR perfect.

Thanks

Hi Sarah!

We began using EHR Tutor this fall for both simulations and to get students ready for clinical. One of the reasons we chose this product was it's lack of alerts and notifications, making students use critical thinking skills. It also is really nice for simulation because you can set up charts to be real time or simulation time based. EHR Tutor has a simulated medication cabinet feature which works with Demo Dose medications or you can print off medication barcodes that the program reads. There are quite a few features and it is pretty inexpensive for the students.

Let me know if you have any question or want more information!
