The Mary Anne Rizzolo Award promotes interest in simulation research conducted by doctoral students (DNP or PhD) with the following goals:
* To increase the quality and quantity of dissertations/DNP projects focused on simulation research in nursing education
* To advance the science of nursing education
* To increase awareness of support for nursing education research by the NLN.
The award is for $2,500 and will be paid directly to the doctoral student. The application process is open to the public, but preference will be given to NLN members.
