AED trainer or a full defibrillator??

I'm looking at purchasing something to let students shock during a simulated code in my ADN/LPN programs.  We've been borrowing the AED trainer from the BLS people and it works so far.  Do I spend the thousands of dollars on a real defibrillator or just the couple hundred on an AED trainer?  I'm leaning toward AED trainer since they have rhythm recognition on the simulator patient monitor but the ICU nurse in me wants the real thing that the students will use in practice.

Thoughts?  Experiences??
