Hello, Everyone:

Just curious to see if any of you have been using simulation as a form of clinical remediation.  If so, I appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks so much.

Hi

I have used simulation for remediation in the past to help identified student's in areas of weakness such as assessment, organization etc.  I changed jobs and we are now beginning a pilot study at EMU using remediation for students identified by their clinical instructors as struggling or needing strengthening in a certain area related to course objectives.  Please email me with any specific questions you might have.

Bernadette,

We have been using SIM for remediation for several semesters now.  In a variety of ways, it is hard to tell from your post as to the type of remediation you are wanting to accomplish with the SIM experience.  My e-mail is pnewton@mohave.edu Send me some more specific information if you like and I can let you know what we do.
