more realistic catheter insertions

Dear SIRC members:

I am looking for a device or mannequin that simulates foley catheter insertion in a more realistic manner.

Our students complain that the mannequins don’t have realistic anatomy for foley catheter insertion.  They say that a real-life foley catheter insertion is never as easy as it is on the mannequin.

Does anyone know of a product that could help me out?

Thank you!

I have looked at many models and settled on the Lifeform model.  While it is not as real as it could be, it has functionality and longevity that I need.  I have worked with task trainers that have more maleable labia, but they tear and wear out quickly.  Short of having something with thrashing legs and unmaneuverable skin folds, I don't think there is a better product.

I will be interested in seeing what others think.

I am a RN that works for a company as a consultant.  There is a company called Koken that makes very realistic catheterinsertion modules.  Its distributor in the US is Worldpoint.
